 Model # 424 with special slide shown on bottom Our bar compound applicators are an advanced design, which has proven to be extremely reliable. The bar compound applicators both model P-SCF and model 424 are capable of holding bars up to 20 inches long by 2 inches thick by 6 inches wide. The applicators are adjustable to hold smaller bars as well.

These applicators automatically compensate for wear of the bar after every stroke. The amount of compound applied per stroke can be adjusted. Also the feed speed and the return speed of the bar is adjustable. The applicators operate pneumatically. Normally they are used with an automated impulse type timer. When the timer actuates the bar feeder the pneumatic cylinder presses the compound against the buffing wheel. The contact time of bar compound against the buffing wheel can be controlled by the timer. The amount of compound applied can be varied from .1mm to .2mm.             Next                        Back
