 Model # 424 with special slide shown on bottom The adjustment allows for very precise control of the amount of compound applied. The applicator automatically compensates for wear of the bar by advancing the entire bar forward. The design of these applicators is also unique by saving on compound used. Unlike other applicators these applicators only require a very small amount of area to hold the bar compound, leaving the operator with only a very small nubbin of compound.

The P-SCF model is mounted to a steel mounting plate that is adjustable with slide bolts. This is for adjusting the angle of the entire unit. The P-SCF applicator weighs approximately 39 lbs. Including the adjustable steel mounting plate. The over all length is 32 5/8 inches and width is 8 inches.

The 424 Model is shown above mounted to a gear reduced hand slide that makes it easy to move the entire unit closer in to the wheel as the buffing wheel wears. This model is mainly used for large diameter buffing wheels. For example in robotic buffing normally a 40 inch diameter buffing wheel is used.             Back
