They are sewn in a spiral pattern from the center to the edge of the buff. All of the wheels available here in the online store are made with standard 3/8" spiral sewing however we can make these wheels to your specifications by telling us what you want in our Request a Quote form. The LIGHT GAUGE, HIGH POLISH MATERIAL that these wheels are made from is the softest available next to flannel material. This material is for color buffing, high luster work. The fact that these buffs are spiral sewn does stiffen the wheel up when compared to the same wheel in a loose buff construction. These buffs work great with good coloring compounds like 35X bar, 647AD, #1bar or red rouge. These wheels are great for final high luster buffing on most metals, wood, other materials, and some plastics. They also can be used for certain types of aluminum and steel.             Back
