Spindle Mounted buffs are easy to use pre-mounted buffing wheels on a ¼ inch mandrel. These buffing wheels are designed to be used with an electric drill, flexible shaft or buffing tool with an adjustable chuck. Mounted buffs are sold in 4-inch diameter only and come in three different constructions. Note: The mandrels on these buffs are not reusable. For a similar buffing wheel set up with a reusable mandrel you can order mandrel # and use loose buffs or sewn buffing wheels with ¼" center holes.
4" MOUNTED BUFF SEWN
This buffing wheel is made of soft light gage material and then sewn for a little extra stiffness. The material is soft so this buff is not recommended for heavy cutting jobs. This wheel is excellent for mild cut jobs with tripoli compound and other coloring operations. Just put it in your electric drill and buff anything. This wheel can be used with any type buffing compound including greaseless compound.
4" Mounted Buff Cushion
This buff is made of soft light gage material for final high luster buffing. Use this wheel with a fine final buffing compound like 35X, #1 white bar, 11W, or Red Rouge. This is also a good wheel for paste compound like Dursol and 647AD coloring compound.
