This Yellow Mill Treated cotton is the higher thread count better quality material. This is a perfect "Jewelry Buffing Wheel" These wheels are about 1/2" thick and are to be used on a tapered spindle shaft. This is a good wheel for cut buffing or for color buffing. These buffs work great with all cut compounds, coloring compounds, and grease-less compounds. Not just for jewelry! These are great all purpose buffing wheels to have around the shop. They last a long time.
